Good morning and happy Tuesday!
I understand it’s been SNOWING a ton in my beautiful home state of Colorado, so for those RTP fans there, this engagement session is sure to warm you up and leave you sunset and beach dreaming.
Funny how things work out sometimes. It really is a smaller world than we think. Ali & Andrew were referred to me by two totally separate connections. The first Natalise & Shane, whom I ADORE, also fellow Stanford Graduate School of Business students with Andrew AND the second referral came from my sweet Colorado couple Sarah & Nick, who’s marrying at Spruce Mountain Ranch — turns out Sarah & Ali are cousins! (I cannot wait for their wedding this June!) Word of mouth is simply the best! I adore my couples and they always seem have the best friends too, so we just continue to keep getting these similar like-minded couples who all have similar tastes!
Alas, Ali & Andrew… such a chic, travel-thirsty, sunshine loving couple. Ali lives & works in Los Angeles, and Andrew is originally from Newport Beach, and now getting his MBA at Stanford. Their ideal day together a round of golf, followed by relaxing time in the sun and a couple of cocktails. Sounds heavenly! They’ve had to do a little exploring to find some adventures amidst this new season of life at business school and one of those favorite weekend hangouts are the beaches and golf courses of Half Moon Bay!
So we started and warmed up with a few images at Stanford’s insanely beautiful and ornate main quad, and then grabbed some bubbly and headed for the beach. I loved how Andrew lit up when he realized how close to the golf course we were shooting; he grabbed a couple clubs an kept us entertained all evening with chip shots between engagement shots. :)
Andrew & Ali, thanks for spending an evening with me. I’m excited to see where life will take you two! And can’t wait to see how your wedding next July turns out!
