Good morning and happy Thursday!
I just love this little job I get to call life. I love the adventures my couples take me on. The places, the people, the sights, the tastes, the smells. The puppies!
Hannah, Jarret, and I had quite the adventure with their engagement portraits. Both are grads of the University of Denver, so naturally they wanted to shoot there as that’s where they met and fell in love. :-) They showed up dressed to the nines in their business professional attire, something that’s “pretty normal for them,” but they were not alone. I was thrilled to see the newest addition to their family trotting along on a leash: their puppy, Stogie. Hannah also asked her best friend Katie to come along and help with Stogie. (Katie is the sister of one of our awesome brides, Stephanie!)
So in addition to their alma mater, we also went to Katie’s hometown of Golden, Colorado (and the site of the proposal!) and shot a few fall images and some super cute ones with Stogie. From the parks of Golden, we went to their favorite hangout for beers and captured Jarret and Hannah in their true element: relaxed around the fire with a couple of craft brews.
Hannah and Jarret, thanks for braving the cold and the traffic. But mostly thank you for being so upbeat and excited about these. I cannot wait for your Breckenridge wedding and all the prettiness and cigars to come. :)
So much love and joy to you!
