1 Year Anniversary: Rachel & Dale

Brrrr!  Grab something hot and wrap yourself up in a blanket as you view Rachel and Dale’s chilly anniversary portrait session in Old Colorado City!

These two were actually married in August of 2013, so we’re a few months late in getting their 1 year anniversary session on the books, but it’s really never too late to document your love story. (Click here to view their engagement images and here to view their wedding images.) These two wanted a little something different than their naturey engagement images in Cheyenne Mountain State Park so Old Colorado City it was!  They wanted color, urban, brick, and it just so happens a few Christmas decorations made it into their images. :-)

Rachel and Dale, it was so fun to see you two again and see your love mature.  You two are just absolutely kind hearts and I appreciate your friendship!  Thank you for letting me be the one to document your journey thus far!

I hope you enjoy looking back on these for decades to come as you remember that first year of marriage.

xoxo,
René

P.S. We’re trying out a new look on our blog images.  I like to switch it up periodically for your, the viewer’s, sake. :-) I think this one replicates that of a matted and framed image; it puts a little more focus and attention on each image.  I believe in artifacts.  In the tangible. In pictures your kids, great-great-great grandkids, and everyone in between can touch. I think the heavy borders help you envision them framed.   Feel free to post your thoughts in the comment box!
