Oh happy day! Hanja & Rich are engaged!
What I LOVE about these two, and I think it’s going to be their secret sauce to longevity of their marriage, is how they have fun. You’ll see in these images that these two know how to laugh together, but from that comes an element to ease as they rest in one another’s arms.
When we met for their first half of engagement photos at Alta Plaza Park, Rich had just returned home from a less-than-24-hour trip to Vegas where he and his buddies surprised another buddy with an overnight birthday trip to Sin City. Imagine just being out to dinner and unexpectedly your friends whisk you away to the airport for an unknown adventure. Blasty blast. But despite being a bit tired, to say the least, Rich was banging on all cylinders as he made Hanja laugh and loved on her.
Hanja is the sweetest. She’s got this big grin that lights up a room – you just know everyone wants to be friends with her when they see her. I had never met Hanja & Rich until their engagement photos, and when I showed up early to chat with them, I felt instantly at ease when Hanja, nail polish in hand, called out over her shoulder from a park bench with a laugh, “I’m just finishin’ my nails!”
Because isn’t that how life goes sometimes? I just love when people are happily authentic no matter the circumstances.
Hanja & Rich, I had the best time getting to know you two. Your zest for life is contagious! Keep on laughing together and always stay best friends. May these images be cherished for generations to come!
