What is it about a floral crown that just sends me over the moon?! I am *loving* when my couples & expecting moms want to do this! Nikki & Charlie’s maternity portraits in Dallas have definitely sent me over the moon. What I love about this shoot, even though Nikki is having a boy, is how feminine it is, how it celebrate motherhood. I know this child is one they’ve been praying for and about for a long time and I just love how this entire shoot celebrates this miracle of life. Nikki is exquisite in her blush pink, lace dress with a crown made just for her by one of Dallas’ best, luxury florists, Bella Flora.
Charlie & Nikki, thank you of making the journey! I loved meeting you in Dallas and shoot in new-to-us-both places! I will never forget this night with you amidst wildflowers, pink sunsets and water reflections, as fireflies danced among us. Thank you so so much for thinking of RTP when you learned you were pregnant and inviting me alongside you again in another monumental life change. I have loved all the advice you’ve given me about the newlywed life and will treasure our Dallas time together. I cannot wait to see this little man, and learn what name y’all finally decide on. :) May these images be cherished for generations to come.
