What an amazing summer of weddings so far! Â Jennifer & Matthew are just some of my favorite people ever and their wedding was, of course, one of my favorites.
These two had an intimate day with 60 guests. Â Their ceremony was held at the Denver Botanic Gardens and their reception at the Denver Four Seasons. Â The teams at both venues are angels and took amazing care of all involved for Jenn & Matt’s day.
I just love smaller weddings.  The photo coverage goes so much deeper as we engage with the guests and learn their connections to the couple.  So many guests gave us high-fives and encouragement through the day telling us “job well done.”  We always feel like family at smaller weddings, but certainly felt accepted as such by Jennifer & Matthew.
My favorite part of the day was Jen’s dance with her father: a classic father-daughter dance to What a Wonderful World turned into a lively, exciting Persian dance! Â The energy was palpable. Â Jenn’s aunt and uncle from Iran used that energy as a springboard and continued to dance the whole night with all the wedding guests, despite not speaking much English. Â It was so sweet to watch!
Though this day was full of smile and positive energy, it was an emotional one too.  Sweet Jennifer lost her mother only a few months ago to cancer.  They pressed on with the wedding, knowing her mom would’ve wanted that.  The day was bittersweet, but I know she was with us.
Matthew & Jennifer, welcome home from your honeymoon in Grenada! Â What a love story you two have. Â Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your journey. Â May these images be cherished for generations to come.
SO much love & joy to you both,
René
Special thank you to all of the amazing vendors who helped make this day a reality. Â I would recommend every single one of them! What a team!
