Charlottesville, VA: Linda and Michael – Part II

Good morning and happy Tuesday!  Hope your week is off to a great start!  This week’s blog posts sure are off to a good start, continuing with Linda and Michael’s University of Virginia wedding.  We pick up right before the ceremony.

Enjoy!  And leave these kids some love in that comment box. :-)

My buddy, Joe Busissink, always says there’s no such thing as perfect photographs, only perfect moments.  This image below qualifies and happens to be one of my favorite images of my career.

Loved that Mike’s grandparents were introduced!  I think they did too. :-)

Linda’s father gave the funniest welcome!

Such a great toast from Mike’s brother.

Mike’s dad watching the action from a distance.

So is The Bernie the new dance move of the year? We’ve been seeing it A LOT lately!
Extra point to this dude on the top left for the glasses.  Nice touch. ;-)

Never a dull moment.  The reception ended under the pouring rain and sparklers.
A special thank you to Mike’s father for holding the umbrella over us.  :-)

Don’t ask… cause I don’t get it.  Some kind of UVA tradition. ;-)

With 20 years of experience, I bring a calm, steady presence to your most meaningful days. I specialize in documenting relationships over time—from weddings and anniversaries to babies and families—with a love for black-and-white imagery, honest moments, and photographs that belong in albums, not just on a feed. There are no forced poses or “pretend to” prompts here, only space for what’s real. I’m not just here for the highlight; I’m here for the history you’re creating.

And I can't wait to capture your story
