I have a really great career. Trust me, I thank the Lord daily because I don’t know how I got to be so lucky. I get to interact with the greatest people! EVERY single bride and groom of mine is someone I’d want to be life long friends with. Malerie and Chris are definitely on that list.
These two actually won the 2011 Wedding Photography giveaway! I thought it was so cool of them to hire me to do their engagement portraits. I can’t say enough about these guys… First of all, I didn’t know this when we selected them as the winners, but Malerie admitted to having a professional crush on me for ages! During our shoot, I brought up several different life experiences of mine, to include my trip to Scotland, and she knew all about it from my blog posts way back when! And Chris, he was so inquisitive. They both were. They wanted to know about the girl behind the camera. What makes me tick. Before the shoot we had some coffee and then after we ate dinner at Chipotle and both times was some of the best conversation I’ve had upon first meetings in a long time! It was obvious that we clicked and that they click too!
I’ll stop blabbering… Just check out these two and know that I adore them and can’t wait to shoot their wedding for free.
Malerie is a babe!
She had all these great ideas for shooting locations and some pretty sweet outfits!
Chris is like seven feet taller than Malerie so we could do some cute images like these. :-)
Love this one.
I don’t normally do too many vintage color effects, except on engagements once in a while, and it was clear to me that vintage was definitely the look Malerie was going for. So that’s why you’re seeing something a little different. It was just perfect for the scene and people.
Ugh, the light was unreal all evening.
Yeah… how cool is Malerie with her pumpkin patch?!
Knowing that these two were on the edgier side, I brought some bubbles. And lollipops, but we accidentally broke those. haha
Malerie and Chris… can we do it again? It was so much fun! I can’t wait for your wedding in March!! Thank you for finding RTP. We’re lucky to have you as clients.
Love you,
René
