Forestgate Church: Elizabeth & Ryan – Part I (of III)

Good evening, blog world!  Happy Tuesday night!  It’s been a busy week already!  Lots of planning and brainstorming and learning.  I even dug out the three-foot tall Post-It notes.  Yes.  Three feet of brainstorming goodness for the upcoming year. Exciting, definitely, but not quite as cool as what you’re about to view.  Elizabeth and Ryan’s wedding was jaw-droppingly gorgeous. It was a morning wedding (love those!) at their home church: Forestgate Presbyterian Church.  Following their tender ceremony was their reception at the football press box of the United State Air Force Academy.  How cool is that?!

You know it’s going to be a good day when red shoes are involved.

And flower arrangements like these!  Thanks Myca at Whirly Girl Flowers for the incredible arrangements!!

While Jes and I hung with the girls, Miguel (you’ll hear more about him later this week!) was over with the guys getting these incredible shots.

These could quite possibly be some of my favorite “getting ready” shots ev-uh!

Elizabeth, you are absolutely elegant!! Ahh!

Okay get ready for my favorite part… Dad!

It was a tear-jerker for sure.

Out of focus, but who cares?? It’s a perfect moment and that’s my business.

Jesie was on her a-game in the weeds.

I can always trust that while I’m getting one thing, Jes is getting a totally different shot.  Looking through her images at the end of a wedding day is like Christmas.

I met up with Ryan and his gang before the ceremony.  I love these guys! When I came to the rehearsal and entered the church all of them were gathered in a room and greeted me loudly: “René!!!”  “There she is!!” You see, I go way back with these guys.  Let’s just say they’re repeat customers… repeat groomsmen if you will.

Okay, so see the groomsman on the left?  That’s Michael! A groom of ours from last October – he and his wife Kristin were married in Orange Country. He had pretty much all the same groomsmen. :-)

Love them!

Off to the ceremony!
