A few weeks ago, I posted Jenny and Josh’s engagement session that took place at their high school, which held memories that only high school sweethearts can share. Today, I am posting their first look that took place on Skyline Drive, overlooking their town and their memories.
The day was perfect. The clouds couldn’t have painted a better backdrop than if we painted it ourselves. And the bride and groom couldn’t have looked more classy. I don’t know if I could describe their love any better than what I shared with you on their engagement post, so I’ll say it again. Actually, I’ll let Jenny say it again.
1 Corinthians 13:4-7
Love is patient, love is kind.
It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud.
It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
“Lately, I find myself evaluating each of these. I take each description and make a visual representation in my head of what it is, or is not. I used to find this verse cliché, it’s always at weddings and everyone always refers to it. This year it has spoken loudly to Josh and me, and I find I love learning about each phrase, and will continue to do so, forever.”
Jenny was the most beautiful bride with the most beautiful bridesmaids.
Jenny… you are perfect.
One of Jenny’s three sisters.
After some preparations and quite the modeling session with Jenny, we headed to Skyline Drive to meet Josh for the first time.
Favorites from the entire day!
After the first look we met up with the guys downtown. LOVE this shot of Josh doin’ a quick clean up.
And this one doin’ a quick fix on his brother’s tie. So sweet.
Josh, you are so handsome!
Part II features some of my favorite wedding party shots of all time… in a vineyard nonetheless!
