Garden of the Gods Engagement: Mikayla & Ethan

Ah, to be young and in love again! I envy these two, fresh out of college and newly engaged, the world at their finger tips! Mikayla & Ethan, and the way they look at each other, make me think of that emoji with the heart eyes.  You know which one I’m talking about.

These two wanted a little snow in their engagement photos and a little bit of rustic Colorado.  We met up at Rock Ledge Ranch – a GEM in Colorado Springs, which I had actually never shot at much.  They’ve got this great blacksmith barn, old farm equipment, horses, and great views of red rocks & Garden of the Gods.  I showed up with this blue & grey Mexican, thinking it’d go great with the snow and found out Ethan had spent the last night looking all over for a similar blanket! So great to be on the same page with my couples!

These two are planning a July wedding in northern Colorado.  WAIT until you see Mikayla’s dress.  HEART EYES EMOJI, my friends.  If their wedding is anything like Ethan’s sisters, Bethany’s, I am gonna be in luck!  Well, I already know I am.. I hit it off with these two.  We went out to TILL restaurant in Colorado Springs, tried crazy new appetizers like beef bone marrow, and laughed at some of the odd antics of the servers. :)

Mikayla & Ethan, I getting to know you and cannot wait to spend more time with you before the wedding!

With love & joy,
René
