That’s what they call us. Why? I don’t know. My dad just says, “You just looked like a little Bink and he looked like a little Budge!”
Bink and Budge.
That’s my nickname. And my brother Kevin’s nickname. But I just knew him as Teh-Teh. See, cause “Kevin” was too difficult for my tiny, toddler mouth to pronounce. Thus, Teh-Teh tumbled out.
In a family of five children, all grossly spread out (my eldest is 21 years older than I), Kevin was my closest. Only four years between us. I could always count on him for excellent Ace Ventura impressions. He is the funniest person I know. I didn’t like him at times – especially in that back seat during road trips or after being tackled only to be left with a wedgie. But, I guess the beauty of time is that it ages you. It matures you. It makes you appreciate all those childish moments when life was simple. And it makes you thankful for all the new adventures you have yet to experience together.
I love you, Kevin. Thanks for the surprise visit yesterday. And for letting me take your picture. ;-)
And yes, ladies, he’s single. And a total catch.

I love nicknames when you are little, and some how they stick for a lifetime. You have a great looking family Rene.
Very sweet post Rene, and great photos too! With my own sister’s birthday coming up, I have been thinking of sibling love all week :)
Kevin really is a great guy, I can’t believe he’s STILL single! Guess God’s just got someone really great waiting for him! These pictures are awesome, Rene!
Awesome :)

Aw what a lovable little sis you are :-)
