Any kind of shoot that starts off with wine tasting is my kind of shoot.  Any kind of couple that’s cool with enjoying a bottle of wine on a picnic table before we shoot are MY kind of folks! 

That’s just what we did with Beth & Andy.  We met up this week at the Holy Cross Abbey in Cañon City for a little downtime.  These two are getting married THIS Saturday! So a little wine picnic was exactly what the doctor ordered – just some time to connect with each other and recalibrate.

These two live in the great state of Missouri but are in town just this week for their wedding in Colorado Springs.  I am so excited.  These two are just a JOY to work with; Beth is easy going and a little sarcastic but in a nice way.  And she’s really funny too.  And Andy, he laughs a lot.  I think Beth keeps him chuckling with her quips; and speaking of chuckle, I wish I had a voice recording you could click on, cause Andy’s laugh will just slap a smile on your face as soon as you hear it.  I can’t wait to see them fully immersed in happiness on this day that they’ve waited YEARS for.

These two have known each other seven or eight years, after they met early on in their college career at Valparaiso University, but only started dating a year and a half ago!  They knew pretty quickly at that point that marriage was on the horizon.  It’s easy to see that these two are best friends and make an incredible team taking care of their two fur-babies!  They’re going to make excellent parents!

Andy and Beth, gosh… it’s been long time coming, huh?  I’m SO thrilled to get to know you two and spend your wedding with you.  Thank you for having us!  We are so excited. <3
