How do I even begin???
I suppose I’ll start at the beginning… I first met Bradley years ago as a groomsman. I then saw him again at several weddings in the follow years. Sometimes as an emcee. Sometimes as a groomsman. Finally, it was his turn and I got to meet his incredible bride at their engagement photos in New Orleans.
I was moved with how loving and joyful these two are. Nicole and Bradley have a way of just befriending you. Truly, I showed up to their wedding day feeling like I was working with friends. These two kicked off our summer wedding season with a BANG to say the least.
Nicole & Bradley were wed at Crooked Willow Farms in Larkspur, Colorado at the end of May – on what was the FIRST sunny, non-rainy day in May! Hallelujah!
Everything about this day was a dream come true, and saturated with beauty. Nicole & Bradley shared in the most beautiful, Christ-centered ceremony, surrounded by a group of people who’ve been rooting them on since the beginning. Their flowers decorated every nook and cranny, and the laughter of their family and friends filled the air the whole day.
This is a serious treat of eye candy for you; narrowing down favorites was nearly an impossible task! Especially when you see the surprise Bradley had for his wife! You see, Nicole just loves animals. Every time they went to Crooked Willow Farms, she couldn’t stop talking about all the animals (and there are a lot – camels, turkeys, horses, swans.. you name it). Bradley worked so hard with me, the venue staff, and their amazing coordinator, Claire with We Tie the Knots, to locked down a surprise photo session with a horse. Nicole (and Bradley’s!) reactions with they saw the horse round the corner are amazing; I think Bradley was shocked at how tall his horse turned out to be!
I have to say a few thank you to the crew that put on this amazing day…
Venue & Staff: Pheobe at Crooked Willow Farms
Coordinator: Claire with We Tie The Knots
Blooms: Somerset Floral Design
Officiant: Paul Holmberg and his amazing wife, Michelle!
And to Nicole & Bradley’s families: you treated us like GOLD. Thank you of making us feel like loved ones. We want to celebrate all the big events with you! And to all of Nicole & Bradley’s friends, including the SIX René Tate Photography couples present, every time I turned around I saw a happy or familiar face; documenting this wedding hardly felt like work. Thank you of making it so fun and loving on us all day!
And finally, to two of the best souls I’ve ever met, Nicole and Bradley, we are lifers. Thank you for being you: authentic, joyful, compassionate, chivalrous, and beautiful.
With love and joy,
René
