There’s just something about them. When they’re together, the December days seem a little warmer, the evenings are sparkled with stars that shine a little brighter. Their laughs are just a little louder. Her smile’s just a bit bigger. The twinkle in his eyes dance just a little quicker.
The love that Katy and Austin share is one of those loves that everyone envys. Pure, authentic, simple love. It’s in the honesty they share between each other. It’s in the way she nurtures him, the way he laughs at her jokes and pulls her in tight, leaving her with a top-of-the-head kiss. The knowing looks of trust they exchange. You see, we can’t always control the hurt inflicted upon us. But we can control the love we give to others to help erase that hurt. God brought Katy into Austin’s life to do just that. Their love was built on openness, communication, tenderness, and trust. As the wine before the meal, they’re better together.
And when they’re together, life is amplified.
