Hello, hello! And welcome to 2010! I’m finally back in town and getting my life in order after Kevin and Eryn’s INCREDIBLE New Year’s Eve wedding in Columbia, South Carolina. In light of the new year, I wanted to bring to your attention a very special resolution of mine…
I realize that I am a wedding photographer. I shot over 70,000 images in 2009 and yes, the majority of them were, in fact, wedding images. That said… I also realize that the majority of blog posts are not actually of these weddings. Why? I have no idea! I think I get so overwhelmed with all the wedding images that I spend all my time trying to decide which ones to post and as a result get discouraged and eventually give up. I hate that! And I hate the fact that my blog posts are so on and off. So my friends, I am making a commitment to you in 2010. A commitment to blog more. But not just “more” because that’s not exactly measurable. Every other day. And some weeks, everyday. And if you’re really lucky, sometimes twice a day – which is the case today!
To get your week off to the right start, you MUST flip through some of these pictures and WATCH the below video from Kevin and Eryn’s wedding. It will make your heart happy. Promise. (And don’t mind that silly little photographer in the frame… ;)

Let me just say that this is an amazing resolution, as I, like many others check your blog everyday for a new post!
Makes my heart smile :)
Love, love, love the New Year’s Resolution. Love these photos even more. Those crazy groomsmen are getting IN IT!
Somebody’s boyfriend is a groovy dancer!!!
Thanks for sharing the video, it brought a smile to my face and brightened up my otherwise gloomy Tuesday morning. Love the shot with John in it and watching him dance was uh, quite the experience. From what I’ve seen so far looks like someone worried for nothing the shots are awesome!
Love it Rene! I can’t wait to see all the new blogs, you are so talented and I check everyday to see if there is something new! Happy New Year
This brought the hugest smile to my face Rene! (As do all your posts!!!)
The McCarthy’s love this & wish we could have been there!
