Good afternoon and dadgum it’s cold! Fortunately, I have just the thing to warm you up. Grab that cup of decaf, cause it’s after 4pm ya know, and curl up as you meet Sarah and Kevin.
These two were introduced to me by one of my favorite couples, Stephanie and Zach, and I’m SO glad they sent Kevin and Sarah my way. Kevin and Zach work together at the same company, along with Sarah. And couple years ago, Sarah caught Kevin’s eye at the company Christmas party and his life hasn’t been the same since.
They were engaged on the rooftop of Linger in the Highlands of Denver overlooking the city. *sigh* The rooftop totally represents everything these two are: modern, chic, romantic, and gorgeous. Sarah may be the most photogenic person I’ve ever photographed. You’ll see what I mean. :-) We had so much fun…
Kevin and Sarah actually live and work in Michigan, but made the trip to Colorado for their Monday shoot with me. You guys ROCK! THANK YOU for coming out here! What I love about these two is how sentimental they are. Everything about their wedding must represent a piece of who they are, including the location of their engagement photos.
With a quick warm up at Wash Park, we then headed to Linger for a fun rooftop session with the most buttery light, and then to grab some burgers in Larimer Square, followed by a couple shots under the Larimer lights! I had so much fun creating these portraits and capturing the CHEMISTRY of these two. It seemed unreal how well they worked together! But lucky for me, it was real and I have their June wedding to anticipate!
Sarah and Kevin, you guys are so much fun. Like Sarah said, it’s a shame we’re not all in the same state so we can have burger and wine nights all over again. :-)
