So if you ever met with me before, in my old house, you’ll know that did all my meetings in my living room. Which was awesome. I was right by the kitchen, I could serve you drinks, food, etc. There was a big screen television on display for reveals. A giant canvas collage above the couch. Silk olive green and brown pillows. Old photographs.
It was a great space.
But it was also my living room. Which meant it always had to be tidy. Vacuum lines on the sofa. Pillows just right. No fingerprints on the TV. No cords hanging out. No dust on the end tables. Aaaand, because it was my living room – which was connected to my dining room and kitchen – that meant I was always absorbed in “work.” Surrounded by weddings. Which really isn’t that different from the rest of my life… BUT
With this new house, I have a designated meeting area and office upstairs. A little home studio dedicated just to RTP. And everything personal is downstairs. It’s a great separation, but that also meant my living room furniture stayed in my living room, and I get to decorate and put together a whole new RTP meeting space.
So with that comes new walls, new furniture, and new images…. And this is where you come in.
I need to select three large format prints. Two will hang next to each other in the same corner area and be the first thing people see when the enter the studio. The second will hang above the loveseat across the room and will the second piece people see.
So needless to say these need to be “wowers.”
I put together a Pinterest board of my favorites. Images that have spoken loudly to me over the last year – and then couple from 2011 as well. They’re just wedding images. We’ll talk engagements later.
