A lot has happened since Cooper proposed in front of my camera a couple of Novembers ago. These two are now in the thick of planning a wedding at the Robison Mansion (which is here John and I got married!! Kindred souls, we are!) this late summer. And I cannot wait! I was lucky enough to photograph Sammie’s older sister’s wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch, and her older bro’s wedding in Cancún!
Now, we always include an engagement session with our René Tate Wedding Experience, but since we already captured Sammie & Cooper’s real engagement & proposal photos, it was a no brainer we needed to make this an engagement/family session and capture their life as THREE! What I didn’t expect was this Colorado trio contacting me and saying they are in love with the desert vibe and wanted to do their family session in Arizona!
They flew out a couple of weekends ago, and I was even lucky enough to host them in our guest house! The desert did not disappoint and was wildly green after some epic rains. Sammie, Cooper, and Charley loved and laughed with grace and ease as we chased the sunset.
These two are tying the knot this summer in Colorado and I couldn’t be more thrilled to be there. They are both so easy to get along with, have a great sense of humor, love country music, and honestly have the sweetest daughter. They’re the type of people you want in your circle.
Cooper & Sammie, thank you for making the journey to Arizona to shoot with me; thank you for trusting me to capture your wedding day; thank you for all the thoughtfulness you put into making this such a gorgeous shoot; and thank you for allowing me to walk with you on this part of your journey! I just love you guys.
