Oh sweet redemption… After a faithful journey of ups and downs the last 10 years, my sweet, longtime friend, Hannah, is yet again experience God’s grace, love, and mercy. Words cannot express how happy I am for her and this man she’s marrying. :-) She’s amidst a whirlwind love story covered in God’s finger prints and I know the best is yet to come.
After seeking some time to Be Still and heal from the past, God spoke to Hannah and her daughter at Palmer Lake. He ministered to their hearts and healed them over many sunsets on the water. Naturally, Matty came into their lives not long after and of course, proposed at Palmer Lake, knowing it’s significance to Hannah’s story. (Side note, before these two met, Mattie’s brother saw Hannah at the lake once and encouraged Matty to hang out around the lake more, because, “There’s a lot of cute girls there!”)
Just one little way God was knitting their stories together before they even knew it.
Hannah, her daughter, Matty, and I met up this September on the perfect fresh, fall evening for a walk around the lake. Such a joy to be a small part of their story and get to know them as a couple.
Matty & Hannah, I’m rooting for you. Praising God you found each other. I cannot wait for the nuptials later this fall! Consider this my RSVP. ;-)
