Good morning & happy Wednesday!
Sit back because you’re in for some epic views and tender moments between these two.
Some may call it love and first sight; for Michelle & Sean, it didn’t take but a few months to know they were to spend forever together. As their one year anniversary approaches, so is their January wedding.
Michelle & Sean are both in the nursing field, setting up life in Grand Junction, Colorado. After working a crazy shift one night and getting out of work around midnight, Sean took Michelle for a night drive to the neighboring Colorado National Monument to take in the twinkle lights of the Grand Junction valley. As they stood taking in wrapped up in each other, taking in the nighttime views, Sean pulled a ring out of his pocked and slipped it on Michelle’s left hand.
A few months later, they invited me back to photograph them in their spot, in daylight, and take in the views with them. I wasn’t sure if I was at the Grand Canyon or in Grand Junction. The views and canyons of Colorado National Monument are pretty spectacular and it was an honor to cruise around with these two, getting to know them and their hearts, and make some pretty pictures.
My favorite part the whole night is the watching how true and well else two compliment each other. Sean is such a quiet, reserved man. Michelle is even fairly reserved. But when they get around each other, it was another story. She was running, jumping from this view point to that one, laughing uncontrollably, and surrendering to his embraces. And Sean? Well he even ran around with her too like a crazy man in love. :-) A wild and carefree side I’m not sure had ever come out until he met the love of his life.
Isn’t love the best? :-)
Michelle & Sean, I can’t wait for your January wedding at Glen Eyrie Castle! Thank you for sharing yourselves and stories with me!
With love, joy, and a sense of adventure,
René
