Oh be still my heart… The best part of this job is making clients-turned-friends. I just love Amanda & Dave and am SO grateful to call them friends. Their wedding, also my last of the year, was on a brisk late-October day. These two tied the knot in Bailey, Colorado at the gorgeous Deer Creek Valley Ranch.
Amanda had mimosas with her girls and her hair and makeup done at DTC’s Hyatt Regency before heading up to the Ranch. She arrived in style with a beautiful limo and took everyone’s breath away when she slipped on her dress. Her sweet mom and dad couldn’t hold back tears when they saw her. Dave was all smiles and happiness when he turned around and saw Amanda at their first look. It was the best. :-)
The day went off without a hitch, the weather was gorgeous, a little brisk, and the sunset was golden. Many of Amanda’s friends and family are from California, so she was really excited to show them the beauty of Colorado. I’m so grateful Dave & Amanda gave me so much time for their portraits before and after the wedding.
The toasts were a big part of this night. The majority of the wedding party toasted them with both humorous and heartfelt words. And Amanda’s dad… there wasn’t a dry eye in the house when the man was done.
Amanda & Dave, congratulations. The best is yet to come! I am so thrilled for your futures and privileged to have been a part of day 1 of the next 50 years. Love you guys!
