Sometimes I get SO LUCKY and get to photograph other photographers. It’s such an honor and such a joy as they usually have amazing taste!
Katie & Joe are the absolutely sweetest! I’ve gotten to know Katie really well over the last few years as she has been my second photographer on wedding days! Her husband, Joe, is a cattle rancher and just the biggest gentleman you’ll ever meet. They are five years into their sweet marriage and have a couple of kiddos. But this is the first time the two of them have been photographed solo since their wedding.
These guys live just 15 minutes from the amazing Paint Mines on the Colorado Plains, so it was a no brainer we had to do some epic shots there. And boy, were they epic. We had a mauvy/pink dress, flowers, rocks, and sky. All the stars aligned! And a super special thank you to one of the most talented florists I know, Amber Mustain Floral Design, for Katie’s head piece!
