I have just loved Teryn from day one.
My cousin, Theron, (yes, Teryn & Theron – rhyming names, so perfect!), is a pretty adventurous guy. He’s a professional mountain biker, snowboarder, and world traveler, who just got his pilot license. Years ago, when we were both living in Colorado Springs, he’d ask me to send any cute single gals his way. Cute I knew, but his standard of adventure was hard to come by in my circle of single friends. And then one day, I started hearing more and more about this Teryn girl he was getting serious about. I eventually met her at my own wedding. I liked her immediately. Warm, outgoing, friendly, and a smile and laugh that puts anyone at ease. I knew she was the one for Theron — mountain biker, snowboarder, and world traveler herself, she is always ready to be his co-pilot on their next 10,000′ adventure.
When these two first reached out to ask if I’d shoot their wedding, it killed me, but I had to say no. John and I were scheduled to be in Asia during the time of their wedding. Missing my cousin’s wedding really weighed on me, though. Family is everything to me. After sleeping on it for a bit, it was a no brainer that I had to come home early and shoot their wedding. I just hoped they hadn’t already booked another photographer. They had. Ahh! Fortunately, their photographer went way above and beyond and refunded them everything! I am so grateful to Jamie Beth Photography for her grace in allowing us make this memory as a family!
Teryn & Theron, your Vail wedding is going to be out of this world. I cannot wait to see Maxxis the dog as the best man and celebrate among family. I just love the way you two love each other; it’s obvious you’re best friends, and that there’s no one you’d rather spend your days with than each other.
Here’s to many more adventures and Teryn becoming a Tate!! Woohoo!
With love & joy,
René
