There comes a time when the wait is finally over.

When you realize that every heartache you’ve ever had has lead you to this moment.  It happens in the blink of an eye, without preparation.

You think you know what you’re looking for, until what you’re looking finds you.  Just like that.  The wait is over. The right one has come along.

I met up with Nancy & Jim for an early afternoon cocktail at the Broadmoor Hotel – the place where Jim proposed this past December.  We laughed and toasted champagne and talked about life.  Jim showed me the exact spot where he popped the question, and of course we took some photos there.  We didn’t linger long at the Broadmoor, as we had a sunset to catch over Nancy & Jim’s favorite place in Colorado Springs: Garden of the Gods.  These two came prepared with a beautiful cheese board, a bit of bubbly, and wine from my hometown.  “That’s’ why we got it,” Nancy says.  Sweethearts, I tell you.

Nancy & Jim, the wait is over.  What a JOY it was to celebrate with you both.  I am thrilled you two found each other; I think y’all are a perfect fit!  Thank you for letting me be the one to do this for you and share in your adventure! I cannot wait to see what the future holds for you both.
