What a special shoot you’re about to see.
Kim & James have been longtime RTP fans for the last seven or eight years. I first photographed their family when their baby girl, Raleigh, was just 9 months old! Since then, Kim has been nothing but a cheerleader of encouragement and joy, rooting me on. This girl has the GIFT of encouragement and uplifting people. I probably owe her to my longevity in the business. ;-)
But all of that isn’t why this is a special shoot. Yes, it’s a JOY to work with this family again, but over the last couple of years these guys have suffered some incredible loss. After 22 weeks, Kim delivered their second child, Ryker. Sweet baby Ryker only got to meet his mom, and for only less than thirty minutes. I cannot even imagine the pain & heartbreak this family has gone through. Their perseverance is nothing short of inspiring. Now, several years later, with Ryker’s footprints tattooed on them, Kim & James are soon to welcome to the world another son.
James & Kim, thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for allowing me to share this journey with you. I love you guys.
