Good afternoon! Happy Tuesday!

You know, we have a handful of out-of-state clients having their own destination weddings in Colorado.  Some of them tell us an engagement session is just impossible since they’re out of state.  I always suggest at least meeting up for an hour or so the week of their wedding for a “get to know you” session.  That’s what Janet & Mike and I did last night and it was so beautiful and totally worth it!  We definitely got out all the nervous butterflies so we don’t  have to deal with them on their wedding day this Friday!

I’m so thrilled to finally meet these two after so many emails and Skype dates.  These two are getting married in Estes Park at Della Terra Mountain Chateau and I am so, so excited!  Janet has big plans with her wedding dress and I can hardly wait to see it! <3  These guys just make me feel so good and welcome the instant I stepped out of my car and hugged them.  They are sweet with each other and laugh A LOT.  She says things like “spiffy” and he throws out random movie quotes.  They have a great affinity for L&L Barbecue, grocery stores, and video games. :)

I can’t wait for their destination wedding in Estes Park and to meet all their family! Janet & Mike, THANK YOU for being you!  Sweet, lovable you.  Thanks for making me laugh and sharing some champagne with me.  I loved capturing you & your love.
