There are just too many favorites! A two-part series is definitely in order for Nicole & Josh’s wintery, Christmastime wedding!
These two were wed just shortly after Christmas at one of my favorites hidden gems of a wedding venue: Villa Parker in Parker, Colorado. Tucked away on a hill, surrounded by pretty pine trees, this place gets the most gorgeous sunsets! You’ll see in part II what I’m talking about; its views never disappoints.
Nicole & Josh are two of the most interesting, positive, and free-spirited people I’ve met. Their depth is so much more than skin deep; after their engagement session in Steamboat Springs, we talked for hours about life, love, and travel. After their wedding, these two honeymooned in St. Thomas. Days after their return, they jetted off again on a THREE MONTH scouting trip in Europe to hopefully decide on a place to work and call home for a while! Because, why not?! THAT spirit is why I love these two.
Their day was filled so gorgeous wintery details, precious, tear-filled moments between Nicole and her parents, the sweetest first look from Josh, and lots of dancing with tambourines in the evening. :-) I cannot wait to see these two again soon in Italy for a couples portrait session!!
Josh & Nicole, I am so happy I got to be your photographer. You two inspire me in your friendship as you adventure the world as only best friends could do. Love you guys.
Ciao for now!
René
