Good morning and happy Wednesday! I have a treat for you today! Jennifer & Matthew’s engagement is the gift that keeps on giving.
I met these two for the first time over a glass of wine at Earl’s and fell in love. We clicked right away and was thrilled when they said they were going to be an RTP couple!
Fall colors were very important to them, so we met at one of my favorite parks in Denver: Wash Park. Its trees are ridiculously full with leaves and the place always gets amazing light. These two brought along their favorite wine from Sonoma, their cozy Pottery Barn blanket, and some Ghirardelli chocolate squares (which is what Matthew wrapped her ring in when he proposed in Avon) for a gorgeous day in the park. Once the sun set, they threw on their formal attire and we headed to Denver’s Larimer Square to get the twinkle lights and continue our conversation over an awesome Italian meal at Osteria Marco – a restaurant we both adore!
These two are just a delight. They value quality. They are forgiving and loving; they don’t hold grudges. Their lovers of wine. And of course, Ghirardelli chocolate. They see things differently – like how Jennifer’s gorgeous cushion cut diamond is rotated on its side. Jennifer is a planner, yet she’s faithful optimistic. She knows how to relax, let go, and trust in the process. And both of them value their legacy and how wedding photography is capturing that legacy for future generations. Love that.
Jennifer & Matthew, let’s do it again! You guys get me. And you get what it’s all about. Thank you for such an amazing evening of conversations and creativity! I simply cannot wait for June. I hope you two enjoy these images and much as I enjoyed shooting them.
With love & joy,
René
P.S. Thank you to our RTP Bride, Michelle, & her sister bridesmaid, Leslie, for sending J&M our way!!
