Happy Friday! Happy Labor Day Weekend!
After a couple weeks of shooting out of town, a little vacation, and yet another move, I’m finally getting chance to share with one of my FAVORITE couples ever.
This is Lindsay & Riley. And they are pure a joy to be around. Their day was one full of smiles, laughs, happy tears, and lots of love. These two made us feel like family. It’s always a great sign at the end of a 12 hour day when I’m *not* exhausted! And that’s credited the bride & groom, family, and wedding party all having a fun time and treating us like gold. I feel like I’m apart of both of these amazing families! Thank you for that!
These two planned their entire day at Red Rocks Country Club in Morrison, Colorado. Lindsay wore a long-trained, sparkly dress! And Riley rocked a sleek silver vest. One of my favorite details was Lindsay’s something borrowed – a necklace from her cousin Jen (who is apart of the RTP family). It dangled down her back and made for such a stylish, unique detail.
I cannot say enough great things about these two – only that if John and I are half as happy as they are in 50 years we’ll be so blessed. Lindsay & Riley, thanks for being my friend first. You two are GEMS and I never wanted your day to end. I love you guys and cannot wait to see you another wedding sometime maybe soon! ;-)
SO much love and joy to you both,
René
P.S. Fun fact for all you photographers reading this blog: all of Lindsay & Rileys personal details, getting ready shots, and individual portraits were all shot in window-less, basement, dark, locker rooms at the Country Club. We created some beautiful, light and airy light for their morning prep!
