Good morning and happy Tuesday! We’re kicking off your week with the very sweet, backyard wedding of Victoria & Cory.
These two were married on the 4th of July at Victoria’s parents home in Kiowa, Colorado. It was the blingiest of days as Victoria walked down the aisle in pearl and jewel studded stilettos and her bridesmaids wore head-to-toe sequins! But also one of great meaning and legacy as she wore her great aunt’s wedding dress – slightly redesigned, of course.
These two partied under the stars until the wee hours of the evening, but not without first enduring a little rain shower from above. Their events were completely outside. Fortunately, the rain held off until just after their ceremony (and nearly all of family portraits), but alas the rain came down, soaking their reception tables and chairs. It was a mad dash to cover sound equipment and speakers and make a run for cover. I have to say, however, Victoria & Cory were the calmest couple… I don’t think Victoria batted an eye, but waited with a calm confidence for the Colorado shower to pass. And pass it did; everyone enjoyed the evening and danced the night away!
Cory & Victoria, I can’t thank you enough for having me. What a great friendship we got out of the deal! :-) You two are contagious in your joy and love for God. Keep putting your trust in Him as you two step out in this world as man and wife. I love you guys!
With joy,
René
