Ooo, do I have a treat for you this Friday!
Romantic engagement photos out in the country with two very gorgeous people. A boy and girl in love, who’ve waited for this day for over seven years!
Victoria, Cory, and I met up last week in Victoria’s hometown of Kiowa, Colorado. East of Castle Rock about 20 miles, Kiowa typically offers the most amazing sunsets and seclusion. But this gorgeous day ended up being beautifully overcast, creating just some really pretty, even light.
We had SO much fun just relaxing into this shoot; I’d be lying if I said we didn’t all meet up for pizza and beer beforehand. We laughed and played in mustard seed, and Cory, a lineman for the utility company, even got out all his super cool gear and climbed a pole for us! Like really high. We had to do a few shots with that!
It didn’t take me long to realized that Cory and Victoria are honest, real, and authentic people who just love to love. They’re the kind of people who make you feel like they’ve known you for decades. They’re warm and friendly and just make you feel like you belong. I look forward to many years of friendship with these two, and many nights of sitting around the campfire with a cold one, trading stories.
