The hardest part of my job is this blog. Choosing less than 100 images out of 2,000 to tell the story of someone’s best day is no easy task.

That was definitely the case with Samantha and Joel’s Pinery at the Hill wedding. I must’ve favorited 300 images for this blog post! These guys mean a lot to me.  All three of us went to college together. Samantha mentored me in a leadership program.  Joel entertained me in some boring classes.  These two are some of my oldest college friends and to see them start dating after college and marry was just too neat.

I’m thrilled for these two.  Recently home from an Indonesian cruise!  So jealous.  Their day was just one of pure class and timelessness. Being selected as their photographer was a true honor.  The legacy of both their families is a strong-knit, loving one.  Witnessing everyone come together with nothing but insurmountable joy was the best part for me.

I hope you enjoy these images as much as we enjoyed creating them.  The Pinery at the Hill is definitely my new favorite venue in town; just gorgeous.  Their bridal suite is to die. for.

Samantha and Joel, God’s brought you this far (2 Sam 7:18).  What an amazing story you two share.  And you’ve only just begun! Congratulations, dear friends.
