I heard this song yesterday…
A beautiful song. One sung by a husband and wife.
A song about doing this life together… about staying sane as long as I can hold your hand. About believing that Jesus knew what he was doing when he put two people together.
But ultimately, a song about not only doing life together, but finishing this life together… and partaking in the feast that is yet to come for us.
And it just made me smile. And sway. And dream. And smile some more.
And it sort of remind me of these two: Jamie and Rob. Two souls, united together in Him, doing the best they can do on this earth, and being stronger together than they are alone. Two people with optimistic hope. Contagious joy. And faith. Assurance in what they hope for; assurance in what brings them Joy. A couple who knows that The Best is yet to come.
Jamie & Rob… we’re lifers. Thank you for inviting me to be a small part of your legacy. Your story. Thank you for introducing me to the glory that is Vista Verde Ranch. I can hardly wait for January to witness and document your union. It’s going to be an amazing celebration. ;-)
