Boy, do we have a treat for you! Only the dreamiest Garden of the Gods portraits you ever did see!
Martha and Pudge were married on a rainy September day, but fortunately, it only rained when we were inside; outside the most magical clouds stirring all afternoon and evening. These two are Colorado grown, but currently reside in San Francisco. You can see their San Fran engagement portraits here. Martha’s a Green Mountain Falls girl, so that’s where she started her day: getting ready at her parents home. Pudge started the day in downtown Colorado Springs at one of our favorite venues: The Mining Exchange!
These two met up at the best Catholic ceremony I have ever attended. Their priest, Father Drew, was absolutely hilarious and very educational. :-) Lined with sunflowers, Martha walked down the aisle to the biggest grinning groom. It was the best day.
Following the ceremony, we loaded up on the party bus and headed to the Garden of the Gods overlook. Martha wanted a definite Colorado feel to her portraits. It had just started raining when we left the church (and I had just bought $100 worth of umbrellas for their 20 person wedding party) but fortunately, the rain ceased as soon as we arrived to the overlook. Hallelujah! Martha & Pudge were so relaxed though, they said, “Let’s just shoot in the rain! Skip the indoor options!” My kind of couple.
But the portraits. Can we just stop and talk about the portraits at GOG?
I’m telling you… they’re dreamy.
See for yourself.
Martha and Pudge, I seriously cannot tell you how much fun we had at your ceremony. (Martha and Pudge hired a third RTP shooter to grab their cocktail hour – which was absolutely essential!!) We can’t think of the last time we’ve all had that much fun at a wedding. We LOVED your reception venue; I think it’s my new favorite! And ou guys treated us like gold. We adore you and your strong family values. Cannot wait to see where life takes you both! And special shout out to your wedding party who ALSO treated us like gold!! Love you guys! You know who you are. ;-)
I wish you SO much love and joy. Hope you are enjoying your wonderful Seychelles/Africa honeymoon!!
With love,
René
P.S. Martha & Pudge had about 40 kids at their wedding at we got the most fun shots ever. Saturday we will be featuring the best of “kid shots” from their wedding. :-) Check back!

So So Pretty! I worked at the firm that designed the expansion for the fine arts center! It is so cool to see it as a wedding venue! Congrats to the lovely couple!
