My soul is renewed…. My goodness. Tuesday’s engagement shoot with Rebecca and Dave was off the charts. The good Lord gave us the most beautiful evening and sunset. It’s been a long, cold winter and dang, was I rejuvenated to be shooting in the warmth. :-)
I can’t say enough wonderful things about Becca and Dave. These two booked us a year and a half before their upcoming August wedding. We first met at Kelsey and Tori’s wedding a few years back when I took them out at sunset for a couple’s portrait during cocktail hour. What an honor to get Becca’s call a couple years later.
These two live in Chicago and are both from Illinois but have always made trips to Colorado over the years, so shooting at Red Rocks in Denver was a little slice of home for them. They met at Columbia in film school; Dave went for lighting (he’s was sorta like a gaffer for the show Chicago Fire and now does commercials) and Becca went for producing. All that to say, the had a great appreciation for photography and lighting. :-) Their wedding at Spruce Mountain Ranch is going to be TO DIE FOR. Wait until you see what they’re planning AND wait until you see her dress….. You might just die it’s so gorgeous! They’re wedding is sure to take your breath away, I just know, just like their engagement pictures will.
Becca and Dave, I like you guys a lot! I had so much fun creating with you. Thank you for being game for anything and for loving each other the way you do. You’re so perfect for one another. (And apparently we’re perfect for each other too – we ordered the exact same meal and beer… burger with green chili added AND the upgraded sweet potato fries. hah) I adore you two and am so excited for your wedding. Thank you for letting me be the one to document it. Can’t wait to see you in July!
