Estes Park Wedding: Andrea & Jay

Happy Friday!

I’ve been looking forward to sharing Andrea and Jay’s beautiful Estes Park wedding with you!

For late October we were blessed with the most gorgeous weather, sunshine, and warmth.  These two were married at the Estes Park Resort on Lake Estes.  We were all a little worried about the water level of the lake.  So much sediment had been pumped out to help repair the washed away roads due to the September flood, leaving a very low, dry lake.   But as you’ll see in these images, the sun still reflected off what water was there and made for a splendidly, stunning ceremony.

There were so many things about Andrea and Jay’s wedding that were just off the charts awesome the details, the wedding party, the dancing, and their love!

From her custom designed engagement and wedding rings to the handmade flower girl baskets (Jay’s mom ROCKED the DIY details!), to the candy bar and numerous chalk boards. Everything was purple, silver, and silk!    And let’s not forget their wedding party.  You guys make my heart sing!  We had so much fun with you.  Another thing that was off the charts awesome was the dancing!  These guys know how to get down and boogie.  Best party ever. And lastly the love shared by A&J.  I have never felt so adored by a couple.  These two pulled us up front at the end of their night and gave us a special shout out and thank you.  SO cool, Jay.  The love they share between each other and with Jay’s two daughters is so beautiful.  Wait till you see the black and white moments immediately after the ceremony during.

I think those moments after the ceremony were the most memorable for me.  Jay and Andrea hugged so tightly as their daughters ran up and hugged them, as Andrea reached out to pull them in closer, she BURST into tears.  It was the most amazing moment.

Andrea and Jay! I just LOVE you guys.  Please let’s go golfing this summer when you’re in town!  And I look forward to showing John the Pacific Northwest, so we’ll be seeing you. :-) I pray you two always love just as loud and strong as you did on this day.  Andrea, keep that big, bold laugh, and Jay, keep making her laugh with your easy-going, positive attitude.

SO much love and joy to you both.
Merry Christmas!

René

The Fabulous Mike Lyon was a god-send on this one!  I just love working with this guy. :-)

What a fun wedding. You are a RIDICULOUS photographer. I mean that in the most sincere way, my friend.
