Palazzo Verdi Wedding: Melissa & Robert

Good morning!  Happy Wednesday!  I’ve got such a treat for you today: a blog post! haha It’s been a while since I’ve been able to show you all the great shoots and weddings we’ve been doing.  Today isn’t just any blog post… it’s truly a stunning wedding of Melissa and Robert.  It’s hard to believe we just did their wedding when it feels like we just did their engagement pictures in Southern California.  In reality, there engagement pictures were in January!  My how time truly flies.

This day was so good.  Gorgeous details.  Gorgeous couple.  Gorgeous light.  Gorgeous venues.

Melissa and Robert planned a gorgeous September wedding in Denver.  They were wed at Pax Christi Catholic Church in Highlands Ranch and had their reception at the oh-so-fabulous Palazzo Verdi.  Sit back and relax and enjoy this beautiful couple, their awesome details, their precious nieces, and all that beautiful emotion!

Melissa and Robert, I can’t thank you enough for having me.  I had SO much fun!  I’m ready to photograph you guys again.  I could shoot you all day long!  So so much love and joy to you both in California.

xoxo,
René

EXTRA Special thank you to Shannon Coker and Kelsey Bigelow for helping me with this one.  You ladies are the bomb!

With 20 years of experience, I bring a calm, steady presence to your most meaningful days. I specialize in documenting relationships over time—from weddings and anniversaries to babies and families—with a love for black-and-white imagery, honest moments, and photographs that belong in albums, not just on a feed. There are no forced poses or “pretend to” prompts here, only space for what’s real. I’m not just here for the highlight; I’m here for the history you’re creating.

And I can't wait to capture your story
