When I asked Michael what drew him to Celeste, what prompted him to marry her, he responded with such sincerity.
He told me a lot of people talk the talk. They talk about big dreams and desires to help the world. To serve God. To sacrifice their comforts and security so someone else can have just that.
But not everyone walks their walk. When Celeste told Michael she was working at home to minister to women who were coming out of prostitution, he knew she was the real deal.
Michael told me that what attracted him to Celeste, was that in her ministry and her life, she wasn’t unrealistically optimistic. But optimistically hopeful.
Ponder that for a minute… Not unrealistically optimistic, but optimistically hopeful.
