They stood together under the gazebo, gazing out across a field, their backs to the crowd. The warm, golden sun sat low on the horizon and shone on their faces.
Together with linked arms, in perfect synchronization to the voices of their family and friends, and With Everything they had, they worshipped.
Let hope rise up and darkness tremble in your holy light.
Every hour singing, Jesus our God, great and mighty to be praised…
After photographing everything I possibly could have during this beautiful serenade to our Savior, I took a few steps backwards down the aisle. Cradling my camera in my arms and through teary eyes, I overlooked 150 people singing their hearts out. Together. No one else had the same vantage point as I. Awestruck with the most beautiful scene I had seen all summer, I tilted my face towards the heavens and did all there was left to do: worship.
Makenzie and Alex, you are two of the most beautiful souls I have ever met. Your carefree-in-Christ attitudes and the way you’re willing to forsake it all for Him is a true inspiration to me. You are the real deal. I can’t thank you enough for our friendship. We are lifers.
With love and joy,
René and Jesie

Can I just break the silence to get a SHOUT OUT for Jesie who completely rocked these stunning details?
