Heather and Omar and I met up at the Chatfield Botanic Gardens for their engagement shoot, only to find out it was closed for a private event. Fail. We ended up headed just next door to the Chatfield Reservoir and I’m so thrilled we did. Anytime I can get water in my photos, I am a happy camper.

I’ll be honest. After our consultation at Houstons in Denver, I didn’t think these guys liked me one bit. “I’ll never see them again,” I thought. Count me as floored, when Heather, ever-so sweetly, emailed me saying they wanted to hire us! Going into our shoot, I wasn’t sure what to expect. Those are the best kind of shoots.

These guys floored me again. Their chemistry was off the charts. We had so much fun together. Omar even confided in me he wasn’t particularly excited about these pictures (as some men tend to feel), but that working with me was super easy and actually fun! :-)

Again, we had such a beautiful night. These two are so sweet with each other and are so full of surprises as I learned at dinner that night. Stay tuned for their wedding post for more on that.
