“I love the way they look at each other.”
That was the first thing I said to René when the door closed behind Sarah and Eric after our consultation. At the end of his statements, she just smiles sweetly and gazes at him for a few seconds. Not awkwardly. Just… with a twinkle. Like at any given moment, she’s thinking that he’s the coolest thing since sliced bread. That’s how she looks at him.
Sarah and Eric met online and fell in love from miles apart. During his first trip to meet her in person, they planned a romantic hike up Pulpit Rock and dinner at Colorado Springs’ downtown favorite, Shuga’s. Honestly, I felt like during this engagement shoot, they were taken right back to that weekend together. Discovering their new love all over again.
Sarah & Eric, working with you isn’t work at all. Thank you for your friendship and the honor of photographing this journey for you.
Blessed by you,
Jesie
P.S. Sarah, I know the photo Eric took of you will always be your favorite, but I hope you love these too :-)

These pictures are stunning! I love the red doors in the first few images and the old fashioned camera in the last ones. So beautiful!
I do LOVE these photos, Jesie! And the man in them :)
These are so beautiful…but how could they not be with such stunning subjects! Once again Rene your work baffles me!
