We continue our month-long series of Vendor Tuesday, featuring one vendor from each category. These are people and companies that I would recommend for my own wedding. Amber and Catherine were the gals who created all the beautiful arrangements you see in our RTP shoot with Scott and Alicia featured at the top of this blog. These ladies are based in Colorado Springs but will definitely take great care of you, even if your wedding is in Denver or elsewhere along the front range.

Tell us about the importance of hiring a professional florist VS a friend?
Hiring a professional florist is important because this is our passion and have spent many years becoming experts in our field. We not only create personalized floral designs, but we have knowledge of flowers and their availability and longevity. We are connected with wholesalers that guarantee product to us, and we help to make the event go smoothly because we only have one job and that’s to make your floral design amazing! Friends are usually not aware of the time and labor that goes into the design process and it’s hard for them to find the exact flowers you are looking for.
What do most couples overlook?
Couples tend to overlook the fact that floral design sets the scene, it allows their guests to experience their personal style. It also enhances the photographs and when captured, is remembered forever.
What range of services do you offer, wedding wise?
Is there an option for the bride on a tight budget? Our services span throughout all budget ranges. We will create a floral design that fits their budget. We offer professional consultations, floral design for all areas of the wedding, linens, rentals, vendor referrals, and delivery and set-up. We are also able to provide flowers for engagement parties, bridal showers/luncheons, and rehearsal dinners.
Is there new and fun wedding trend that you’re excited about in 2012?
We are excited about the return of texture and unique foliages to bouquets. We love designs that have interest and flow!

We are passionate about bringing a bride’s vision to life by creating visually interesting designs. We love unique color palettes and using texture, foliage, and other original design elements. We are both coffee lovers-Catherine black with a splash of cream and Amber needs chocolate in hers, and we love our small dogs-Tula and Lucy.
