Veterans Day in D.C. – 11.11.11

Good morning!

I wanted to take a minute to share with you some recent personal work.  As I’m sure you read in previous posts, I spent Veterans Day weekend in Washington, D.C. I was out there for Jenny and James’ engagement shoot. Prior to their shoot, I had a whole day, November 11, 2011 Veterans Day, to walk the city and reflect on all those Veterans who have served in the past and present.  And I really did reflect.   Being in D.C. during this weekend was such a good reminder of all that’s worth fighting for.

May you be intrigued by these images and study them a little deeper, drinking in the highlights and shadows of each image as you ponder those values and people in your life who are worth fighting for.

Here’s to the off season and off beat posts,
René

With 20 years of experience, I bring a calm, steady presence to your most meaningful days. I specialize in documenting relationships over time—from weddings and anniversaries to babies and families—with a love for black-and-white imagery, honest moments, and photographs that belong in albums, not just on a feed. There are no forced poses or “pretend to” prompts here, only space for what’s real. I’m not just here for the highlight; I’m here for the history you’re creating.

And I can't wait to capture your story
