“So, Mike, how did you know you were ready to marry this girl?” I asked with a soft smile looking up at his tall, six-foot-something frame.
He looked down at me with the biggest grin as a chuckle escaped his mouth. With a sure nod of his head and a shrug of his shoulders, he said, “Oh, you know, one day you just wake up and you realize you can’t let something so good get away.”
Because sometimes it’s just that easy.
