Good evening! Got a little something special for the evening crew! We had our first wedding of the summer at the beginning of June. This wedding has been a long time coming. Casey contacted me back in 2008 or so about her new engagement to Michael. She just had to have us, but one thing led to another and they decided to postpone the wedding until 2011. Sure enough, she called again and we had the date open.
What I love about these two is, as cliché as it sounds, how much they love each other. They both have had hard childhoods and have worked incredibly hard to get to where they are today. They’re super successful and driven people and couldn’t have done it without the other. To them, they have each other and that’s what’s most important. They’re stronger together, better together, and happier together. Just watch Michael’s laugh… :-)
Casey and Michael – I admire you. I know your stories. And wow, if only I had an ounce of the determination that you do…
Casey and Michael were married at the Tapestry House in Fort Collins, Colorado.
Casey’s hair and makeup was absolutely perfect!
And so were her flowers!
Apparently coffee was spilt on Casey’s vows… I believe at one point they were thrown away, but then dug out of the trash can because she really wanted to say what she had written. :-)
Lookin’ good, Michael!
Michael got Casey the most beautiful pearls!
The Tapestry House
Casey’s little brother walked her down the isle. Love this moment I caught just outside the bride’s room before the ceremony. Right place, right time!
Casey, are so stunning! Inside and out!
Best part of the ceremony when Michael pulled out his vows and they reach the ground!
Part II comin’ at you tomorrow!

Rene, I can’t begin to say how much I LOVE these! You are truly gifted, and I wouldn’t of wanted anyone else to have shared our day with us and I believe NO ONE could have captured us the way you did!
