Can we say “hiatus,” please? Sometimes a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do. That and get her life back together after traveling for over half of the past month. We are back in full swing, fully recovered from Hawaii, Vegas, WPPI, and a fairly yucky cold I brought home as a souvenir. That is, from WPPI of course. Hawaii I brought home all the Kona coffee and mac nuts I possibly could. More to come on all those ventures! Well, all but the yucky cold souvenir.
It is my absolute pleasure to showcase Miss Katie and her fiancé James. And not only because she has these amazing curls and James is an amazing chef, but together they have the most beautiful relationship and hearts. Katie booked us over a year ago, but I had yet to meet her until about a couple of months ago. And that night was a night to go down in history. Two and a half hours of coffee talk. Yes. The three of us sat on my couch, drank cup after cup after cup of coffee and laughed and chatted till the cows eventually did come home. Isn’t it nice when you just click?
Katie couldn’t help but fall in love with a previous engagement session that we did at Shove Chapel, so we followed her heart and started there, continuing onto to one of her favorite architectural structures, the Colorado Springs Pioneer Museum, and ended at the glorious overlook at Garden of the Gods.
We, of course, had a terrific time. :-) James and Katie, I am not just saying this, thank you for sharing so so much of your hearts with me. They are beautiful. I’m truly privileged to know you.
Truly.
Looking forward to a James-prepared-dinner one of these days. ;-)
So much love and joy to you,
René
