Greetings from New Orleans! Wait, I mean, greetings from Nawlins!! Oh yeah. I’m workin’ on my accent. The Pictage PartnerCon has been a blast. The last two days have been jam packed with seminars, but more so just socializing and networking. Around every corner I turn, I run into someone I know. It’s been so awesome catching up with folks. More on that to come, for sure. But until, it is my pleasure to show you the second half of Angela and Nick’s gorgeous wedding in Boulder at the Red Lion Restaurant. It’s gonna be good.
Their ceremony was filled with so much laughter.
Rather than a unity candle, these two did a rope tying ceremony.
Woo! We’re married!
Love this one!
The 10-Minute Rule couldn’t have been better!
Before the reception began, Anglea and Nick had a killer cock-tail party and because we banged through family photos, they were really able to enjoy it to the fullest.
They had this great photobooth where guests could create their own callouts. And they had this cool girl who could’ve been a Stella Artois model. Couldn’t resist. :-)
Jes and I both have a heart for capturing the little ones running around a wedding. This one’s mine:
Now this family contacted me months before the wedding about the possibility of doing a family shoot the day before the wedding. However, because these guys are missionaries in Ecuador, things just didn’t end up working out, but I was happy to do a mini-session with them during the cocktail hour.
Their entrance was pretty much the bomb.
I love these two. Dads are the best, aren’t they?
These were at two different times in the evening, but I thought it was worth noting that like father, like son. :-)
Now, Angela and Nick gave this really sweet toast. Part of it was gears towards Angela’s sweet grandma. see her kind of hiding her face on the right?
Jesie is the bomb. Love this shot she grabbed! Actually, this dude is the bomb!
Once in a while I post the flower and garter tosses, but rarely do I post the catches. These two shots were too good to be true.
Love love love!
Blastly blast!
Ang and Nick – you two are an inspiration. Jesie and I felt like family all day. Thank you so much for including us and trusting us so much. We just love you! We’ll see you in San Diego sometime!
So much love and joy to you,
René and Jes
