Tonya and JP started their Sunbird Restaurant reception with their first dance. They danced to Love’s Divine by Seal, which has quickly become a favorite of mine.
Their youngest daughter got quite emotional throughout the dances. Love this moment of her being consoled.
And of course, quickly running to her parents to squeeze in a hug.

Their wedding was coordinated by the awesome Danielle of Something Classic Events. I’ve worked with her on a couple of weddings – love her!

After the reception, we headed down to one of JP and Tonya’s favorite places: the penny arcades in Manitou Springs.
We had a blasty blast.
Tonya and JP wrote me the sweetest thank you note, that I feel is appropriate to share here. It really tells of their hearts and our experience together. We are lifers, you two. Love you both so much!
Jp and I want to tell you both that we were truly blessed to have such an amazing duo of talent taking our wedding pictures. Not only were you professional but you have this wonderful way of making everyone feel welcome…you both are like a part of our family…not only on our wedding day, but in our hearts too.
Thank you for taking the time to make our wedding day special and beautiful. Your personalities are phenominal! You made us feel so comfortable and relaxed throughout the entire day. Thank you for staying an extra hour or so after the reception so that we could get pictures in Manitou Springs!You really made a great effort to shoot some more pictures of us in our favorite spot – while it was raining! You both are so wonderful!!
Although we have not seen the pictures yet, Jp and I (and all of our family and friends) cannot stop raving about both of you and your impeccable talents. God has truly blessed both of you, and may you use those gifts that He gave to you for His glory!
I hope that we can continue the friendship that we have begun to establish.
