Part II picks up at the Cañon City Abbey where I got a little obsessed with Jenny and Josh’s wedding party. Everyone looked so fantastic. Jesie and I had so much fun photographing them all. You’re definitely getting a double or triple dose of wedding party shots, compared to normal. This first one is possibly my favorite shot from the entire day. This little boy will steal your heart with his look on the left. You have been warned… :-)
Pretty much the cutest kids ever.
This is what happens when you tell a toddler to hold another toddler’s hand. LOL
The Abbey is such a gorgeous gem in Cañon.
Love these side shots that Jesie grabbed.
Jenny and Josh were married at their home church of many, many years: Evangelical Free Church.
Here we go!
I love hanging in the back with the bride and her dad. Best emotions ever.
Jesie gets the gold star for grabbing this shot of Josh’s brother wiping his eyes! Soo good!!
Jenny’s uncle, Larry, married them. :-)
Mr. and Mrs.!
Love these shots right after they said “I do.”
After a few family photos it was onto a reception at the church, where the highlights of the evening were definitely dancing and the toasts!
Jenny and her dad are so sweet.
Jenny and her brother Ryan.
The toasts were perfect. So heartfelt.
Tim’s toast was so incredibly sweet and tear-jerking. He started his toast with a story about how he met Josh for the first time: in the airport when Josh was adopted. Instantly we all lost it.
Jenny and Josh, you are two very special people. I know we’re friends for life! You have such beautiful hearts and souls. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for you. Thank you for loving the way you do!
With joy,
René and Jesie
